I bring special greetings to you in this time when things are very out of the ordinary, and when we are all trying to find our way.
We are used to gathering together in fellowship and uniting together in worship. At Canterbury we are community, and we are family.
Right now, for our own well-being, our churches and our government have advised that we refrain from gathering together in person.
And so, I am offering connection to each other ‘in Spirit’ through this online resource. I am hoping that you will use the opportunity to worship through the familiar words of the liturgy and hear reflections on the Word of God. The page will be updated and new materials posted weekly. The resource page will contain links to help you access materials from your own faith tradition, among other things.
Please let me know if there are other things you’d like to see and hear!
One thing is for sure, we are together in this common experience of physical and social distancing and we journey this common road, knowing that all of our friends and neighbours are right there with us - indeed that God is with us as we go.
